The Michael Filipek Tennis & Sports Academy has added one week of tennis day camp at Copper Valley Swim & Tennis Club, located in Cheshire, CT. Copper Valley Club is a premier private summer tennis & swim club in central Connecticut featuring 5 Red Clay and 3 Har tru courts plus a full size pool for campers to cool off during camp.
After ten successful summers, the Michael Filipek Tennis & Sports Academy continues to establish itself as one of the finest tennis programs in the Northeast. Founder and director Michael Filipek will apply decades of experience and years of planning to the Academy in its ELEVENTH year. Michael will be running this location in cooperation with Nishanth Prathab, Copper Valley’s Head Tennis Professional.
Campers who register for the camp and join Copper Valley as a new member will qualify for 25% off the CVC tennis season clinic for their age group. The camp will consist of the following programs:
|Each day will consist of at least 4.5 hours of on court training, one hour of off court training, one hour of recreational swim and lunch. Every camper will receive training in all aspects of the game, including stroke technique, footwork, strategy, fitness, and match play. From beginners to tournament players, all players will receive a customized curriculum to enhance their development.||
Time: 9:00am – 5:00pm
Days: Monday-Friday (lunch included)This program is designed to maximize the experience for young players of all ages
